Gold is the fruit of a degrading and cruel process that colonises people and lands in the name of an ambition devoid of rationality. The human interest in glitter comes from the biological state of the search for water, which reflects the light and enchants us with the possibility of survival. This work embroidered with golden metallic threads, forming a womb, brings in the background a question: what are we giving birth to?
At the same time, the symbol of female strength and fertility brings with it new possible lives.
